While fishing wachusett reservoir down past pine grove cemetry in the eairly spring. My girlfriend (who is very new to bass fishing) and I were walking and casting with some rapalas tring to poke some trout. But with the wind blowing in our faces we were thinking about going home. Then my girlfriend starting yelling for me and I turn to see her light action rod doubled over and the drag going pretty good. what I thought to be a nice trout turned out to be a 22 inch small mouth. What a susprise for me and it got my girlfriend "hooked!
